My Book Rating System

Want to know what my numerical ratings mean? Here they are!

  • If I give a book a 5, which is extremely rare, it means that I absolutely devoured every word and would read it over and over and over again.
  • If I give a book a 4.5, it usually means that this book will be added to a favorites list some where but I doubt I read it a second or third time. I would defiantly recommend it to many people.
  • If I give a book a 4, I tend to recommend to only a few friends that I think would enjoy the book based on content or plot alone. It was a good book, usually with an interesting plot, character, or scene that I personally connected to.
  • If I give a book a 3, it wasn't super memorable at all to me. I most definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
  • If I give a book a 2, I'd suggest you don't read it. I usually don't give a 2 unless I just can't connect to the book at all.
  • I only give a book a 1 if I couldn't even finish it. (I've only ever had TWO of these in my lifetime!)
